We understand, cancer care cannot wait. In these times of corona virus pandemic, it is recommended that patients with cancers should continue their treatment in centres equipped for such treatment and equipment and systems in place to prevent transmisison to the virus. At SGRH, we have a robust system in place for including but not limited to special arrangements in OT including stringent emphasis on use of appropriate protective equipment by the entire staff, special OPD ventilation arrangements, screening of all individuals entering hospital, routine COVID testing for all patients getting admitted, segregation of patients with tests reports awaited from patients proven negative, and covid positive patients being managed in completely separate branches of the main hospital which are some distance away from the main hospital premises where we treat our cancer patients. with this support, we have been able to continue to provide appropriate cancer diagnosis, and treatment including surgery reiterating our commitment to cancer care.
